Pause

Pause Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026 ยท Contact jeff@l7-partners.com

Pause is a breathing pause that appears before apps you choose to guard. This policy explains what Pause does, and does not do, with your information.

Short version

Pause does not collect your data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers of its own. Everything Pause stores stays on your device.

What Pause stores on your device

This information is kept in Pause's private storage on your device (including a shared container used by Pause's widget and Screen Time extensions) and is deleted when you delete the app. History older than 120 days is removed automatically.

Screen Time data

If you choose the Screen Time setup, Apple's Screen Time framework lets you pick apps to guard. Apple represents those apps to Pause as opaque tokens. Pause cannot see your Screen Time usage, and the selection never leaves your device.

Sharing and third parties

Pause does not share data with anyone, includes no third-party SDKs, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Your control

Children

Pause does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
